MAL Entertainment had a big week in Las Vegas. The 28th Annual Adult Nightclub & Exotic Dancer Awards Show — the industry’s only national awards show, put on by ED Publications — was held August 25th at the Penn & Teller Theater inside the Rio Hotel & Casino, and The Pony – Pensacola came home with the hardware: Club of the Year, East Region.

Pensacola was one of ten clubs nominated for the East Region title this year, up against clubs from Miami to New York City. Taking the win puts The Pony in elite company on the industry’s biggest stage, voted on by club owners, GMs, and staff from across the country.
Scores Mooresville: In the Running for the Top National Honor
It wasn’t a one-club night for MAL. Scores Gentlemen’s Club & Steakhouse in Mooresville was also nominated this year — for Overall Club of the Year, the single biggest award the ED’s hand out, recognizing the top club in the entire country. Scores was one of just eight clubs nationwide named a finalist for the honor.
What This Means
The ED Awards are voted on by industry peers, which makes recognition here different from a customer review or a local “best of” poll. It’s the adult nightclub industry telling MAL Entertainment that two of its clubs are among the best being run anywhere in the U.S. right now.
